sync-forge

Web-based file sync manager (rsync profiles + live progress) — part of the Forge Suite by dev-boffin-io.

Features

  • Profile tab — saved sync profiles → ~/.sync-forge-profiles.json
    • Source/destination (local or user@host:/path), SSH key, bandwidth limit, excludes
    • Options: --delete, -z compress, -c checksum, preserve perms/times
    • Live command preview
  • Run tab — Dry Run or full Run with SSE live log streaming
    • Stop running job anytime
    • Status badges: running / done / error / stopped
  • Jobs tab — view all jobs from this session, stop or view log
  • History tab — persistent run history → ~/.sync-forge-history.json
  • Sidebar profile list for quick switching

Install

pip install flask
# rsync must be installed

Run

python app.py --host 0.0.0.0 --port 5056
