port-forge

PyQt6 port scanner & network connection manager — part of the Forge Suite by dev-boffin-io.

Features

  • Scanner tab — multi-threaded TCP port scanner
    • Preset ranges: Common, Top 20, Web, DB, Full (1-65535)
    • Configurable timeout, thread count, banner grabbing
    • 500+ well-known port service names built-in
    • Live progress bar, sortable results
  • Connections tab — live network connections (psutil)
    • Filter by TCP/UDP/LISTEN/ESTABLISHED
    • Search by address, process name, status
    • Kill process from connection view
    • Auto-refresh every 5 seconds
  • Listening Ports tab — clean list of all listening ports with PID + process name
  • Quick Check tab — single host:port connectivity test
    • TCP connect with latency, banner grab, ICMP ping
    • Firewall analysis (open / closed / filtered)

Install

pip install PyQt6 psutil

Run

python app.py

Full port scans (1-65535) may take a few minutes depending on thread count and timeout.
